2nd Annual Teradata Aster & Northwestern Hackathon – April 29, 2015

Led by Teradata Aster team Lee Paries, John Thuma and Russ Ratshin in collaboration with Northwestern Professor Diego Klabjan and his Master of Science in Analytics Program

What can 36 Graduate Students using Aster Solve in Less Than 8 Hours? Join us for a special invite-only Northwestern and Teradata Aster Hackathon Session on April 29 and find out.

Armed with the Northwestern program immersion, students will share an array of findings that span from multi-genre analytical techniques such as pattern, text, prediction and graph. Presentations and novel findings will be shared and the top teams will be awarded passes to Teradata’s annual PARTNERS conference. Student presentations will begin at 4PM at Northwestern University, followed immediately by a reception and awards presentation. You will hear fascinating presentations on themes such as:

  • Major League Baseball Statistics for Batting and Hitting
  • National Football League Game Statistics
  • Presidential State of the Union Speeches
  • Twitter Data
  • Consumer Complaints Data
  • Amazon Data
  • Medicare CMS Data

You are welcome to invite your clients and prospects to attend the presentation, meet the students, and the Teradata Aster team. To join us on April 29 for these high level student presentations and for the cocktail reception, please contact Mary Gros, mary.gros@teradata.com.
